How do I recover my account?

If you no longer have the app on your phone:

1. Install the 4Privacy app from the App Store.
2. Select “I already have an account” on the first screen.
3. Make sure you have your 24 word account recovery in front of you. Then, type the first word. As you type, you’ll see suggestions pop up. Choose the correct word. Go through all 24 words.
4. If your recovery is correct, you’ll see a confetti animation. If your recovery is not correct (even one word), you’ll need to start over.

If you still have the app on your phone:

1. Select “Reset PIN”
2. Select “Recover Account”
3. Make sure you have your 24 word account recovery in front of you. Then, type the first word. As you type, you’ll see suggestions pop up. Choose the correct word. Go through all 24 words.
4. If your recovery is correct, you’ll see a confetti animation. If your recovery is not correct (even one word), you’ll need to start over.
